Dustin Stokes

Summary: I have worked in academia for twenty plus years now, in philosophy and cognitive science, primarily at research intensive institutions of higher education. My interdisciplinary approach to research and teaching bridges the ideas and methodologies from philosophy, empirical psychology, vision science and the cognitive sciences generally. I have published one academic monograph and one edited volume, dozens of peer-reviewed articles in leading venues in those disciplines, while also producing “popular” pieces. I have given 100s of research presentations, and taught 100s of university-level courses. I have been lucky enough to successfully collaborate with philosophers, psychologists, neuroscientists, AI researchers and roboticists, radiologists, and artists.
